PIANO METHOD LATE LEVEL 1 TO EARLY LEVEL 2
‘Mystery at Fog Hollow’ is the fifth book in a fun beginner piano adventure series after ‘Who Stole The Broccoli?‘, ‘Mystery in Room 13’., ‘Sneaky Sabotage‘. and ‘Harry’s Hideout‘. Budding detectives are immersed in a mystery designed to engage students and add enjoyment to lessons.

A piano adventure
For years, whispers of ghostly flickering lights and spooky noises in the dead of night surrounded an old abandoned house at the edge of Fog Hollow. No-one dared go near! But after a police tip off, Detective Drake discovers a huge stash of stolen treasures. A cunning thief kept prying eyes away from their loot by scaring anyone who came near! Can you find the thief and bring them to justice?
Beginner piano
This story based piano adventure works well as both a stand-alone method book, or alongside any other piano method series as a supplement to reinforce learning. Ideal from around age 8 upwards, it builds on the concepts learnt in the first four books in the series, ‘Who Stole The Broccoli‘, ‘Mystery in Room 13’, ‘Sneaky Sabotage‘ and ‘Harry’s Hideout‘. focusing on further developing reading skills and adding eighth notes or quavers, accidental signs (sharps, flats and naturals), tones and semitones (whole or half steps) and much more.
The contents
All five books in this series are a unique way to learn piano and make it engaging right from the first lesson. Budding piano detectives learn tunes in a progressive order of difficulty (with teacher accompaniment) and discover ‘clues’ in the theory puzzles. There are mazes, scramble puzzles, match ups, colouring activities and more.
The book is aimed learners who are at the end of a level one method book and the start of level two. This series can be used alongside any piano method book as a supplement to learning, and is also ideal as a stand alone method.

Who is the sneaky thief?
There are clues to find in the piano tunes and theory puzzles, as well as suspects to rule out one by one. The thief could be anyone living in Fog Hollow, keeping a careful watch over their stolen treasure. A QR code leads to the solution to check if students solved the case, and there is a colourful certificate at the back of the book for successful investigators.
