PIANO METHOD LEVEL 1
‘Harry’s Hideout!’ is the fourth book in a fun beginner piano adventure series after ‘Who Stole The Broccoli?‘, ‘Mystery in Room 13’., and ‘Sneaky Sabotage‘. Budding detectives are immersed in a mystery designed to engage students and add enjoyment to lessons.

A piano adventure
Detectives have been tipped off to a break-in at the local museum. A group of robbers calling themselves the ‘Forte Gang’ were caught red-handed trying to steal some valuable gems. But their leader, Harry, got away! Slipping past detectives, he was spotted on CCTV running towards an abandoned town called Lakens Edge. Can you find his hideout and bring him to justice?
Beginner piano
This story based piano adventure works well as both a stand-alone method book, or alongside any other piano method series as a supplement to reinforce learning. Ideal from around age 8 upwards, it builds on the concepts learnt in the first three books in the series, ‘Who Stole The Broccoli‘, ‘Mystery in Room 13’, and ‘Sneaky Sabotage‘ focusing on further developing reading skills and covering almost all of the grand stave. It continues with interval reading (2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5ths), and adds more treble clef notes including space notes FACE.
The contents
All four books in this series are a unique way to learn piano and make it engaging right from the first lesson. Budding piano detectives learn tunes in a progressive order of difficulty (with teacher accompaniment) and discover ‘clues’ in the theory puzzles. There are mazes, scramble puzzles, match ups, colouring activities and more.
The book is aimed at the beginner learner and level wise is equivalent to a large proportion of a series like Piano Adventures Level One. This series can be used alongside any piano method book as a supplement to learning, and is also ideal as a stand alone method.

Where is Harry’s Hideout?
Budding piano detectives follow a map of the area, ruling out buildings that leader of the gang, Harry, could be hiding in one by one. A QR code leads to the solution to check if they solved the case, and there is a colourful certificate at the back of the book for successful investigators.
