This is a music resources and study based website with a main aim to provide a fun and safe learning environment for music teachers and their students. Any use of this Website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions and by accessing and using it, you accept and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to be bound by them, please do not use this Website. Please also find this Website’s Privacy Policy here.

This website is for users of all ages but if you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions for you and provide their email address at sign-up. We do not allow users under the age of 18 to use their own email address.

Definitions

‘Website’ refers to all websites owned and run by Susan Leigh including http://www.learnatune.co.uk. Use of the words ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’ in these Terms and Conditions refers to Susan Leigh and use of the word ‘you’ is to you, the User of the website, as well as your parent or guardian if you are under the age of 18. The word ‘pack’ refers to resources, including music games, quizzes and other learning tools grouped together. The word ‘membership’ refers to a subscription for a period of time, usually on a recurring monthly basis, which gives access to those resources.

Introduction

The http://www.learnatune.co.uk website has been created and is run by Susan Leigh.
This website provides several resources as well as information about the products Susan Leigh offers
The website offers ‘memberships’. This includes a membership to the Learnatune Games Hub with paid access to online music theory games’. There is also a membership to the Learnatune Books Hub which gives free access to music teachers of resources to complement Susan Leigh’s music books.
The paid membership to the Learnatune Games Hub is split into three options (Andante Teacher, Allegro Teacher, and Presto Teacher) giving access to online music theory games and resources grouped together in music ‘packs’. These are available by paying a ‘membership’ fee giving access which lasts for a specified period of time and is usually a monthly recurring payment.
This website also sells PDF ‘downloads’. These are instantly available for download after payment is received and this service is provided by Payhip.

Your Registration

To access any of the resources on this website, including signing up for a membership, you will need to become a registered user by setting up your own personal account. Accounts are available for both students and music teachers.
The Website is for users of all ages but parents or guardians should register if their child is under the age of 18, and use their email address, rather than the child’s, at registration.
Each registration is for a single user only. You are only permitted to have one personal account and agree not to create multiple accounts for one person. You must not create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission. You must not use one account for several people. Please see the special terms for music teachers on this page.

Your Account

To become a registered user and create an account, you provide us with your full name, email address and a strong password. These details are only used to administer your account.
It is the responsibility of the user to inform the Website of any changes to their information by using the account facilities.
We reserve the right to refuse or remove any username for any reason if we consider it to be inappropriate or receive a complaint.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access and use of the Website as a whole or part at any time. We may exercise the right with or without notice.

Account Privacy

We care about your privacy and your personal details are never passed to any third party except where required by law. We retain the right at all times to retain and disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. Your personal information will never be provided to any third party for their marketing or promotional use.
We will only ever contact you about matters relating to your account and only where necessary.
Your account information is private to you with the following exceptions. Whilst individual quiz scores are never visible on public parts of the site, names (or you can remain anonymous as ‘Guest’) and game scores may be visible on game leaderboards. Your username will also be visible in any comments you might make.

Keeping Your Account Secure

At registration you are sent, or create yourself, a username and password to access your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, your password and data, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account. Please keep all your account details secure.
It is highly recommended that you choose a strong password using a combination of letters, special characters and numbers.
You must notify the Website immediately of any unauthorised uses of your data or your account.
The Website does not permit any other person sharing your username and password. Should it be found that you are using the account, username or password of any other user, or have disclosed your password to a third party, or permitted a third party to access your account, your account will be removed from the Website.

Memberships

This website offers memberships at various levels.
A ‘Student‘ membership for the Learnatune Games Hub is purchased by the music student or their parent/guardian and is for their own personal use. One user per purchase.
A ‘Teacher’ membership for the Learnatune Games Hub is purchased by the music teacher and means that for the duration of the membership, teachers may use the games and resources within it in the music lesson with any students taught by them.
One teacher can use the games in the Learnatune Games Hub in a single ‘Teacher’ membership with any of their students but multiple teachers cannot use the same single membership. One membership should be purchased per teacher.
A membership for the free Learnatune Books Hub gives music teachers access to helpful resources to complement Susan Leigh’s music books.

Digital PDF Downloads

This website offers paid PDF games and worksheets at Payhip.
Files are delivered as a PDF requiring some form of PDF reader on your device to open the file, read and print. Please ensure you have this before going through the checkout.
Digital PDF Downloads are non refundable. The resources are delivered electronically and can’t be returned after having been sent to you. For this reason all sales
Each purchase of a printable resource is intended for use by one music teacher to use with their own students in their private studio. You may keep one copy on your device and also print copies for your students but duplication for any other reason, including resale, is not permitted.
Studios with multiple music teachers must purchase one download per teacher.
Digital resources or any parts within it, may not be reproduced in any form, stored electronically or in any retrieval system, or transmitted in any form by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopy, recording, or otherwise, without prior written permission of the publisher and copyright holder

Music Teachers

Music teachers can use any ‘Teacher’ membership resources with students currently having lessons with them for the duration of the membership.
Music teachers may not use a ‘Student’ membership with multiple students. ‘Student’ memberships are for one single user only.

Posting Content

The Website allows you to comment on posts and resources if you wish. However, this is a study based Website and users are asked to only post content relating to music study. To ensure a safe study environment, all contributions are moderated and any comments which are considered inappropriate will be deleted. Any user found to be posting anything offensive or unrelated to music study may be removed from the site immediately without warning.
Please ensure you have the right to do so before sharing any content or information on the Website. We do not accept responsibility for material linked to (whether provided by us or another user) accessible through the Website. Any links provided are not an endorsement of products, services or information provided by such website. You acknowledge that you use links on the Website at your own risk.
You agree not to use the Website to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise offend others. You agree not to publish, distribute, email, transmit or disseminate any material which is false or misleading, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, indecent, offensive or inappropriate. The content should be used only for your own personal use (non-commercial) and not for any other purpose.
Where the Website has used images, sound effects or music from other sources these are also subject to the copyright notices from such individuals or companies, and similarly may not be reproduced, modified, stored or commercially exploited.
You are very welcome to link to the Website but may not copy any of the content.

Payment Policy

This Website passes payment processing to Paypal, Stripe, Apple Pay or Payhip.
To access any paid parts of this Website you must be enrolled with a membership and have a valid and up to date paid account. Memberships are usually recurring with monthly payments.
No refunds are given for memberships. The resources you purchase on this Website are delivered electronically and can’t be returned after having been accessed or downloaded. For this reason all sales are non-refundable.

If you upgrade or downgrade your membership level, no refunds or credits will be given.
Each membership is for ONE single user only and may not be used by more than one person. The only exception is a ‘Teacher’ membership where teachers can use the games in their membership with students having lessons with them for the duration of access.

We make no guarantee that the use of the Website will be compatible with all hardware, software and web browsers but recommend your computer or device has the following minim requirements for viewing and playing the games on this Website before you purchase a paid pack.
