Heist: a grade 5 theory game

Put your detective skills to the test in this grade 5 music theory game and stop Reg from robbing the museum!

Wouldn’t it be great if you could revise for your grade 5 theory exam but make it fun at the same time? Heist is an online card game which helps you practice questions relating to scales. Form major, harmonic minor and melodic minor scales (up to six sharps or flats) and also work on degrees of the scale in four different clefs (treble, bass, alto and tenor).

Just wanted to say how helpful my daughter found this site for revision in her lead up to her Grade 5 music theory exam. Will definitely recommend to others. Thank you

It has been designed to follow the ABRSM grade 5 syllabus, but works equally well with any method or course of study.

Students compete on a worldwide leaderboard to earn rewards and stop Reg leaving the museum with his loot. Moving through each floor, they follow Reg’s trail trying to thwart his attempts to steal the special gems in a ‘heist’.

Can they find him before he escapes?!

Heist is one of a collection of games at grade five level called ‘Revise for Five‘. Climb the ruins in ‘Tropical Treasure’, mix the ‘Perfect Potion’, or try to ‘Escape The School’ and work on intervals, time signatures, chords, cadences and much more.

The ‘Studio’ version of Revise for Five includes bonus resources not found in the student version and is perfect for teachers to use in lessons. Dig for diamonds (but watch out for the snakes!) in an intervals game, or try to win a (virtual!) million in ‘Music-ilionaire’.
