Beat the teacher by spinning for apples!

Spinning the wheel, my student giggled as it landed on the area where I have to give her some of my apples. It was even funnier a few turns later when I lost all my apples and she won the game!

Spin for Apples is a light-hearted online theory game for teacher versus student and is great for testing semitones and tones in both treble and bass clefs. The player who has the most apples at the end is the winner.

This game is part of a collection of teacher versus student games called “Beat the Teacher”. All are set at grade one level and work alongside any method of study. Topics include time signatures, major scales, key signatures of C, D, F and G major, tonic triads, intervals (numbers only), time values, music signs, treble and bass clefs, and more.

Beat The Teacher comes with a printable PDF of resources which includes a leaderboard to pin up in your studio. Every time your student beats you they get to put a marker or dot next to their name. Can they win at all the games?

Discover all the games from “Beat The Teacher” in a Presto Teacher membership at Learnatune. This includes over 160 online games, activities and resources. Find out more here.
