PIANO PRIMER LEVEL
Following on from the success of Who Stole My Pizza, is a new mystery adventure for beginner piano. In a kingdom far away someone stole the King’s dragon, but can your students rule out the suspects and crack the case?

A ‘guess who’ style mystery
This fun piano mystery has six original tunes to learn and is full of theory puzzles with hidden clues to solve. Decipher the ‘Dragon Language’ or follow the ‘Cave Tunnel Maze’ to rule out suspects and find the thief. Anyone who lives and works at the castle could have stolen the dragon.
The piano music
‘Who Stole My Dragon’ includes six original tunes to learn, such as ‘Knight Patrol’, ‘A Magical Mess’, and ‘Follow Those Feet’ . They all feature piano accompaniments so that teacher and student have the option to play together. The note range is around middle C making it ideal during the first year or so of learning (treble clef CDEFG and bass clef CBAGF).
The theory puzzles
There are lots of theory puzzles to solve with clues to reveal. Enter the ‘Cave tunnel maze’, play ‘Dreaming dragon bingo’ and solve the ‘Potion commotion’ to rule out suspects.
This book works well alongside any piano method book or series. Level wise it is equivalent to around half way through Piano Adventures Primer or the middle point of My First Piano Adventures Book B

The puzzles include music theory students might encounter in their first year or two of learning, such as simple dynamic signs, time signatures of 2, 3 and 4 beats in a bar and simple note/rest values. Questions vary from adding missing time signatures, musical maths, matching signs to meanings and much more.
Follow the story
This adventure also includes colourful images telling the story. Each chapter reveals hints, clues and evidence to rule out one or more suspects and find the thief. The only way to catch who stole the dragon is with music theory knowledge!
