LEVEL 1
In this fun mystery for piano, poor Billy the astronaut was on his way to a guitar lesson when suddenly a spaceship swooped in out of nowhere, locked a beam onto the guitar, and flew away! Which of the aliens at the space station stole it?

A space themed detective mystery
Students use their musical detective skills to rule out the alien suspects one by one in this ‘guess who’ style adventure. There are seven original tunes to learn (with optional teacher duets), music theory puzzles to solve, and colourful comic style images telling the story.
The piano sheet music
The sheet music is set in several different five finger positions around the piano (with some hands together playing), making it harder in difficulty than the other books like ‘Who Stole My Pizza’. It works great alongside any method book but is equivalent to Level One of Faber’s Piano Adventures (scroll down to see the note ranges and hand positions).
- Ballad of Bouncing Billy
- Crime Scene Capers
- Rockin’ Rocket Fuel
- Black Hole Orbit
- Space Station Serenade
- Groovy Space Flowers
- Galactic Garage
The music theory puzzles
The puzzles include music theory encountered during the first couple of years of learning (click below to see more details). There are mazes, match ups, colouring activities, a note to unscramble and much more.
