Into the Storm: a new collection of piano solos

‘Into the Storm’ is a brand new collection of ten original piano solos in a contemporary ballad style. Set sail on a journey across the ocean from safe harbour into the storm as a metaphor for life and love.

Ideal for pianists who have been learning for around a year or more, this reflective book encourages the development of expressive playing and storytelling. It also features use of the sustaining pedal and recognising common patterns in the bass clef.

As the boat moves further away from safety into ‘Open Waters’, the winds begin to rise and the ‘Undercurrents’ lead it towards the ‘Storm’. What wisdom will be found in the journey as it eventually sails into the ‘Calm’ of smoother waters? Listen to the entire song list below.
