Today is an exciting day! I am very happy to introduce to you my brand new music games website with over 160 games and resources for teachers. Better yet, it’s part of this very website!
Work out ‘Who Stole My Homework’, creep through the forest collecting gems but ‘Don’t Wake Lenny’, or swim down the river in a barrel in ‘Pharaoh Fred’, while practising music theory. A great way to add some fun and engagement to music lessons.
Customise some of the games by dragging notes into any position you wish or using ‘fill in the blank’ flashcards. Focus on a wide range of topics like time signatures, scales, accidentals, note values, chords and more. You might even want to ‘Beat the Teacher’ or play some of the two player games like ‘Secret Letter’ or ‘Stegosaurus Snap’.

There are even music mystery adventures to play. Use your musical detective skills by combining sheet music and the games to figure out ‘Who Ate My Cake’, or visit a mysterious island to search for the ‘Lost Diamond’. In ‘The Mystery of the Blue Raven’ students complete ten written worksheets and explore the abandoned floor of a school at night to solve the investigation. Entering the basement you find a broken window and the music teacher’s mobile phone on the floor … but what happened?
As a teacher the drag and drop notes are incredible! I love how I can tailor it to the range of notes a beginner knows, or focus on a particular set of notes that are recent and relevant. Music Teacher | More Reviews
