You find yourself in the hallway of a house. The only way out is to use your music theory knowledge!
My students love a puzzle or challenge so one of the first games I created was an escape game. It was a huge hit so I knew I was onto something that was highly motivating and a lot of fun.
Since then I have created several escape room style games using music theory and the latest is ‘Escape The House’. There are lots of rooms to explore in the house as students figure out how to leave. Clicking the screen, they search cupboards, move objects and fully engage with this interactive digital game to find clues.
The clues are all based around grade one level theory and include degrees of the scale (numbers only), time values, music terms and more. An entertaining way to help students learn or revise theory.
‘Escape The House‘ is part of a brand new pack of digital games called ‘Theory One’ and is included in the Presto Teacher Membership, making it perfect to use during lessons. Find out more about how to access this game here and let me know if you have any questions.
