Entering the jungle with your camera, you are excited to get some great pictures. But will you be photobombed by the cheeky animals?!
This beginner theory game uses simple note values of 1, 2, 3 and 4 beats plus time signatures of 2, 3 and 4 beats in a bar. Ideal during the early stages of learning, students answer questions by choosing the correct time signature for groups of notes.
It’s then off into the jungle with three seconds to get the best photo! There are lots of points on offer for a full animal, but some of those creatures are really speedy, so only an arm or leg gets partial credit. Not all the animals are very co-operative!
Bonus points are available for unlocking special badges, including ‘Photographer’, ‘Cheeky Monkey’ or ‘Rare Sighting’ rewards, and there is a worldwide leaderboard at the end of the game showing the top ten players (students can play anonymously as ‘guest’ if they prefer).
Jungle Photobomb is part of a collection of online beginner theory games including ‘Pizza Takeaway’, ‘Who Stole My Doughnut’ and more. It’s in the ‘Presto Teacher’ membership at Learnatune Games along with over 160 music games and resources. Find out more here.
