At Spooky Sid’s school of magic a big black cauldron of bubbling blue liquid fills the room with smoke. But what is he making in there?
In this customisable music theory game, teachers can set any question they wish using the in built tools. Drag notes onto the stave for naming, playing, and interval reading or create time signature questions using note values of 1, 2, 3 and 4 beats. Teachers choose a score which gets added to the overall game score.
The aim of the game is to collect as many spells as possible when Spooky Sid’s creations pop out of the cauldron. If students enter the vault, it’s time to get busy opening the old wooden chests to see how many spells are inside. But careful! If Spooky Sid is hiding in there, the spells from this round are lost!
“As a teacher the drag and drop notes are incredible! I love how I can tailor it to the range of notes a beginner knows, or focus on a particular set of notes that are recent and relevant”.
